Five remanded over murder of Ndiga clan head
Eng Daniel Bbosa was killed last month.

Five people have been charged and remanded over  the murder of Ndiga clan head, Eng Dan Bbosa who was shot dead last month.

The five including Noah Lujja, 21, a mason, Milly Naluwenda, a secretary to a traditional court , Harriet Nakiguli, Joseph Nakabale, a painter and Ezra Mayanja were arraigned before Mwanga II magistrates court  murder charges read against them.

Court was told that the accused and other still at large on February, 25 at Kikandwa Lungujja in Rubaga division with malice aforethought unlawfully caused the death of Eng.Daniel Bbosa.

They were however not allowed to take plea since their offence is capital in nature and tried only by the High Court.

The state prosecutor, Caroline Mpumwire told court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing.

The trial magistrate, Adam's Byarugaba remanded the group to Luzira government prison until April, 4, 2024.
