Rugby: Lady Cranes face Zimbabwe, Tunisia in tricky ties

The Uganda Cranes Lady rugby sevens team will today hope to kick start their Women Africa Cup Rugby seven's two day campaign on a bright note with victories in Gaborone, Botswana.

The tournament comprises of three groups (A,B and C) with Africa top 10 nations taking part in the showpiece.

Groups A and B both comprise of three teams each while group C has four teams which will be ranked as 1-6 from groups A and B as according to the way they perform in the group stages , then those in C will be added on as 7-10.

Then from 1-8 will qualify for the quarterfinals and 9-10 will battle for the 9th place playoff.

The lady cranes who were pooled in group B with Tunisia and Zimbabwe will open their tournament against the latter and rest for a few hours then take on Tunisia.
