Danz Kumapeesa, a 23-year-old promising music producer is dead. Kumapeesa succumbed to injuries he was inflicted upon by thugs, three months ago after he was attacked as he was heading home.
He died at his home in Makindye, barely weeks after he had been discharged from Nsambya hospital.
Danz Kumapeesa is the producer behind hits like Rema Namakula’s Yo sweet, Winnie Nwagi’s Musawo and Bebe Cool Ft Sauti Sol’s Mbozzi Zamalwa.
“Sad news this morning as Dans KUMAAPESA gives up on the fight for life,RIP”, singer Bebe Cool wrote on official Facebook page.
“Gone too soon my brother Danz Kumapesa. Rest in peace Brother. I'm speechless I thought you gonna come back R.I.P Danie. You will always be remembered,” reads another message from singer Eddie Kenzo.
Burial arrangements shall be communicated in due course.
