Meanwhile, Cabinet has refuted earlier claims that it had barred Lands Minister Betty Amongi from facing the commission of inquiry into lands issues over land fund management .

This was revealed by the cabinet spokesperson and ICT minister Frank Tumwebaze while addressing journalists at media centre who further revealed about the new national building review board that is meant that monitor the standards of building.

Cabinet also approved the mining and mineral policy for Uganda 2018 intended to link the mining sub sector to other sectors of the economy.
