Held at Thrones Bar & Lounge, the monthly gathering attracted revellers who spent the afternoon enjoying food, cocktails and conversations before the event transitioned into an evening celebration filled with music and entertainment.
Guests also participated in interactive cocktail-making sessions, learning different ways of preparing drinks using The Singleton, while sampling a variety of dishes and socialising throughout the event.
The Singleton Brand Manager, Simon Lapyem, said The Big Meeting has grown beyond a social gathering into a platform that allows people to connect through shared experiences.
“The Big Meeting continues to reflect what The Singleton stands for, bringing people together over exceptional food, great music and unforgettable moments. Every edition gives our consumers a chance to experience the versatility of The Singleton in an authentic, social setting while creating lasting memories with friends, both old and new,” Lapyem said.
Throughout the afternoon, guests moved between cocktail stations as mixologists demonstrated different whisky cocktail preparations, while others gathered around tables to enjoy meals and conversations.
Entertainment was provided by some of Kampala’s popular DJs, whose selections of soulful music, Afro-house, Amapiano and Afrobeats kept guests entertained into the evening.
The event also showcased The Singleton’s approach to whisky appreciation by moving beyond traditional tastings and creating an experience that combines food, music and cocktails.
The gathering attracted young professionals, creatives and lifestyle enthusiasts, many of whom used the occasion to network, relax and reconnect with friends in a laid-back environment.
As July came to an end, The Big Meeting once again offered Kampala revellers an opportunity to enjoy good food, music and whisky while creating memorable experiences ahead of the next edition.
