The monitoring, documentation, and reporting will feed into the Management Information System (MIS) being set up by MoGLSD as well as the State of Business and Human Rights Report that Resource Rights Africa produces annually to partly inform deliberations during the Annual Symposium on Business and Human Rights.
It is because of this that Next Media continually stays actively engaged in supporting student leadership, and that is not just at Makerere but across Uganda. When we cover these student initiatives, offer training and mentorships, and provide internship opportunities, we are helping to shape the next generation of leaders.
Teens will cast their votes within their schools, adding an interactive element to the awards. The event will also feature live determinations of school-specific categories, including Mr. & Miss High School, Best High School Dance Group, and Best High School Rapper, further engaging the teen audience.
The funds accrued from the Autism Awareness Run 2025 are designated to support a range of critical initiatives, including the provision of therapeutic programs for individuals with ASD, the development and dissemination of educational resources for schools and families, the implementation of community outreach programs aimed at reducing social stigma, and the establishment of family support networks.

Moderated by Rukh-Shana Namuyimba Kitaka, the discussion examined whether gender diversity is a true business enabler or merely a corporate checkbox, and how leadership opportunities can be fairly distributed.
