"If you're not motivated, if you're not mentally prepared, it is difficult in Africa. So, we hope that we have our supporters behind us and I hope we can play the same way that we did when facing Mozambique. It means with forward pressure, aggressivity, good mentality," Put said.

"Also the football we brought (against Mozambique) should be the same today, because otherwise we are going to face a difficult game," he added.

Cranes come into this game second behind table leaders Algeria who are standing on 18 points, six points above Cranes.

On the other side, Somalia who have only registered a point in the group are last of the log, having lost 0-3 to Guinea last week.

Uganda are tied on points with Guinea with 12 points but Cranes are above with a better goal difference.

Uganda will be hoping to maintain the same performance and three points against Mozambique to build on that and raise hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
