Reigning Miss World Vanessa Ponce de Leon has touched at Entebbe Airport ahead of the Miss Uganda grand finale on Friday 26th, July 2019
The reigning queen was flanked by her Miss World team, Miss World franchise CEO Julia Marley and was received by reigning Miss Uganda who doubles as Miss World Africa, Quiin Abenakyo and Miss Uganda CEO Brenda Nanyonjo.
Speaking to the Nile Post earlier this month, Miss Uganda franchise CEO Brenda Nanyonjo said that the visit will include a road trip around Uganda, a courtesy State Visit to the State House and engagement with Miss Uganda projects, which she will climax with the crowning of this year's Miss Uganda and Sheraton Hotel, Kampala on 26th July.
"Yes, we invited her to come here for the first time and I think its the right time to invite her," Brenda told Nile Post.
She was entertained by cultural dances and members.
She will later on Tuesday evening address the press at Sheraton Hotel in Kamala.
By the time of writing this report, She was being driven in a convoy to Sheraton Hotel.
