The Iganga district Khadi Sheikh Sinani Muwanika has urged Muslims to take advantage of the numerous government programs .
While speaking to Muslims during Eid prayers held at Iganga Municipal Primary School playgrounds, he said majority of Muslims are reluctant take up government programs and instead resort to begging from wellwishers yet they are in good position support themselves
Muwanika appealed to Muslim faithful who turned up for prayers to avoid engaging in bad habits like drinking alcohol fornication even after the Ramadan fasting season
"It's time to dump the bad habits and think of doing good even after the fasting season, ."he said
The chairman Iganga Supreme Council Hajji Sinani Wakinyankali cautioned politicians against delaying burial ceremonies by canvassing for support instead instead of leaving religious leaders play their role
Wakinyankali urged politicians to wait for the right time in order to politick instead of wasting time for mourners during burial ceremonies
Prayers were led by Sheikh Mohamed Yakubu Kagulu the imam of Iganga municipal council.
