In recent days, an image of a birth certificate circulating online claims to belong to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Ugandan military officer and son of President Yoweri Museveni. This document has raised significant attention, with various social media users and online platforms discussing its authenticity. However, after thorough investigation, it has been conclusively determined that the alleged birth certificate is a fabrication.

The image circulating online purports to be a certified birth certificate issued by Ugandan authorities. The image of the birth certificate looks nothing like a Kenyan certificate as the details and shape does not match an authentic Kenyan birth certificate.

The alleged birth certificate has a stamp from the Office of the Principal Registrar, Coast Province , Republic of Kenya yet General Kainerugaba was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and not in Kenya as claimed in the certificate.

The fake certificate was created by a site, kenyanbirthcertificategenerator.com, that allows you to generate your own Kenyan birth certificate.
