The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, visited the nearly completed All Saints Cathedral today, invited by Provost and Prime Minister Emeritus Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi.
She praised the faithful for their generous contributions to constructing this magnificent house of worship.
"I commend the faithful for their generosity and commitment to completing this iconic cathedral," Speaker Among said.
"Parliament is dedicated to supporting its full completion, ensuring it stands as a symbol of faith, unity and Uganda's rich spiritual heritage."
The cathedral, a testament to Uganda's strong spiritual foundation, will serve as a beacon of hope, unity and faith for generations to come. Speaker Among reassured the congregation of Parliament's unwavering support.
"Today, we reaffirm Parliament's pledge to support this sacred project, fostering spiritual growth, national unity and cultural preservation," she emphasised.
