Our efforts to get the details of what was discussed in the closed-door meeting went futile after the journalists resorted to playing cat-mouse chase as both the prosecution and the defence comprising Macde Kabega, Jet Tumwebaze and Ellison Karuhanga were rushing to their waiting cars after the seemingly cordial engagement. They referred journalists to the registrar just like the office registrar also referred journalists to the lawyers.

Currently, Molly Katanga, the key suspect in the early November murder of her husband and City Businessman Henry Katanga, is on remand while the co-accused, the daughters Patricia Kakwanza and Martha Nkwanzi, the family Doctor Charles Otai and the home worker Godfrey Amanyire, are currently on bail on charges of tampering with the crime scene.
