Java House Uganda Expands Beverage Portfolio with New Products

Java House, East Africa’s leading coffee-led restaurant brand has expanded its beverage portfolio by introducing new products onto the Ugandan market.

During the opening of their 10th brand in Naguru on Tuesday, the restaurant brand introduced Java Ka Chai, the Java Gold Label Black Tea, expanding its beverage portfolio to cater to a broader range of tastes.

At the same function, Java House rolled out its in-house delivery, a service developed in response to evolving urban lifestyles and a growing demand for convenience, particularly among younger, tech-savvy consumers.

“This move signals our continued evolution to meet present-day customer expectations, where quality dining experiences extend beyond the restaurant space. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and the new additions are part of our mission to ensure that every Ugandan has access to our warm, welcoming service and the high-quality meals and coffee we are known for,” said Eusila Jepleting, Country Manager, Java House Uganda.

Speaking about the in-house delivery service, Jepleting said going forward, customers will be able to place delivery orders via direct phone calls or WhatsApp, managed through a centralized call centre, with additional ordering channels such as an app and website planned for later phases.

“Preparation and rider dispatch will be closely coordinated to ensure meals arrive fresh and well packaged, with estimated delivery times ranging between 30 to 45 minutes depending on distance. Strong operational controls have been put in place to maintain consistency in food quality, service standards, and overall brand experience, ensuring that customers receive the same level of excellence whether dining in or ordering from home or office,” she said.

Java House currently has 10 branches in Uganda and 104 in total in Africa.
