Demand for high-end properties continues to rise, driven by urbanisation, rising incomes, and limited land in prime neighbourhoods.

Presiding over the ceremony, the Minister of State for Investment, Hon. Evelyn Anite, praised Vaal Real Estate for its professionalism, transparency, and international-standard investment model.

She commended the developer for involving investors from the conceptual stage—a practice she said builds trust and sets Vaal apart in Uganda’s competitive real estate market.

“Vaal Real Estate does business the way serious global developers do. They bring investors in from the start and ensure trust, clarity, and shared vision,” Anite said.

She further endorsed Uganda’s investment climate: “Uganda is the best investment destination when you get into good hands, and Vaal Real Estate is one of those good hands.”

The minister also revealed her personal confidence in the company, noting that she, her husband, and a friend have already purchased apartments from Vaal, describing the company’s model as “convincing, structured, and investor-friendly.”

Studio units at The Bridge start at $86,000 (about Shs322 million), appealing to both local and international investors seeking secure, modern, and luxurious living options.

Demand for condominiums in Kampala has been rising at approximately 12% annually, driven by a growing middle- and high-income class.

Rental yields in Kololo, Nakasero, and Naguru remain among the highest in the city, ranging between 8–10%, making premium apartments a reliable investment.

The Bridge is Vaal’s second project in Uganda following the success of Cadenza.

Across Africa, the company is developing 16 major projects in Uganda, Kenya, and Ghana, positioning it as one of the continent’s fastest-expanding real estate firms.

The development will feature two modern residential towers, each with 12 floors and two basements, complemented by 25 curated lifestyle amenities on the ground floor and rooftop.

Residents will enjoy panoramic views of Kampala’s skyline, along with a combination of leisure, comfort, and privacy.

During her address, Anite encouraged Ugandans to embrace disciplined entrepreneurship, highlighting Vaal’s approach as an example of strategic thinking needed to grow the economy.

She cited the story of a Chinese investor who arrived in Uganda with $10,000 and now oversees the Mbale Industrial Park, which has attracted 75 investors since 2017.

The Bridge is poised to become one of Kololo’s architectural highlights, expanding Kampala’s stock of luxury high-rise apartments at a time when demand for modern urban homes is increasing.

Vaal Real Estate pledged to deliver the project to international standards, reinforcing investor confidence and Uganda’s reputation as a secure and attractive destination for real estate investment.

With developments like The Bridge, Kampala’s skyline is transforming into a model of modern African luxury, where world-class design meets opportunity and long-term value.
