With motorcycles accounting for over 40% of road accidents in Kampala, TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda has launched the “Kyuusa Gear ne Hi-Perf” campaign, a road safety initiative promoting high-performance motorcycle engine oils designed to reduce accidents caused by engine failure and poor maintenance.
The Hi-Perf range is tailored to Uganda’s unique riding conditions and aims to improve engine reliability, rider safety, and service quality across the ecosystem.
‘‘Kyuusa Gear ne Hi-Perf” introduces a competitively priced offering that not only highlights the critical role each oil component plays in engine performance but also champions best-in-class service practices across the motorcycle value chain.
Speaking during the event, Mr. Joseph Wechuli, the Finance Manager of TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda, underscored the company’s dedication to innovation, understanding customer needs and delivering value.
“This campaign is an expression of our continued commitment to innovation and our appreciation of our
customers’ desires by providing mobility solutions that allow them to do what they
want to do in a sustainable way," he said.
Wechuli further emphasized that TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda remains committed to providing top-quality products, investing in sustainable mobility and championing initiatives that benefit both people and the planet.
‘Hi-Perf oils are designed to deliver enhanced value, better mileage, superior engine protection and rider confidence," Allan Omuron, the Specialties Manager said.
He further noted that the “Kyuusa Gear ne Hi-Perf’’ campaign will elevate service quality standards from the grassroot level across the entire ecosystem—from mechanics to the service station network.
According to officials, the Hi-Perf oils feature an advanced formulation technology tailored for the unique riding conditions that Ugandan motorcyclists encounter.
