Njeru gets major electricity access boost

The official launch of the electricity distribution project at Buteema Stadium, Njeru Central Division, marks a significant milestone in expanding electricity access in Njeru South Ward.

State Minister in charge of the Vice President, Diana Mutasingwa, announced the launch on her social media platform, highlighting the project's alignment with the government's commitment to extending power to all communities.

"Access to electricity is a key driver of development," Mutasingwa emphasized. "With electricity in place, we expect growth in small enterprises, improved service delivery, and better living conditions for our people."

The project aims to extend electricity access to all parts of Buikwe and Uganda at large. Mutasingwa's commitment to this goal is evident in her efforts to promote development in the region. As a resident of Bukaya in Njeru division, Mutasingwa has a deep understanding of the community's needs and is dedicated to addressing them.

The electricity distribution project is a crucial step towards achieving the government's vision of universal electricity access.
