On Saturday, July 12th, gaming fans across Uganda will be glued to their screens as Game Plus: The Ultimate Matchup Edition goes live from 9 AM to 11 AM on NBS Sport. Hosted by Danze Edwin, this electrifying two-hour showdown will feature five of Uganda’s top gamers—Kid Musa, Ezra, Bashir, Aksam, and Joao Bin—battling it out for glory, cash, and national pride.
After weeks of fierce competition streamed live on TikTok, these five elite players have emerged as the best in the country. Now, they enter the final leg—15 high-stakes games to determine Uganda’s ultimate gamer. The tournament will begin with a league format, where each competitor faces the others once. The top four, based on points and goal difference, will progress to the knockout stage, which includes home and away semi-final matches and a single grand final game.
To keep things moving, two games will be played simultaneously during the league and semi-final stages using dual screens and consoles. The final match, however, will take center stage—one screen, one match, one champion.
The stakes? UGX 2 million and the prestigious role of Team Uganda Captain in the upcoming Uganda vs. Kenya face-off this August, also airing live on NBS Sport.
