The engagement brought together the URU team, led by Chief Executive Officer Isaac Lutwama, and the NBS Sport delegation headed by Andrew Kabuura, Head of Sports at Next Media. The two teams held wide-ranging discussions on upcoming rugby events, broadcast strategies, and ways to grow audience connection with the game at every level.
The session underscored a shared commitment to shaping the future of Ugandan rugby through impactful storytelling, consistent coverage, and creative promotion of the sport’s local and international calendar.
“Our collaboration with NBS Sport continues to bring Ugandan rugby closer to its fans,” said Isaac Lutwama, CEO of the Uganda Rugby Union. “Through visibility and consistent engagement, we can inspire more people to follow, support, and participate in the game.”
