Salam TV, Salam Charity Foundation, Turkish Community, and AFO (All For One) joined forces, distributing meat from over a thousand cows, goats, and sheep to countless individuals nationwide. This initiative was part of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations, aimed at spreading joy and kindness to all, regardless of faith.

Bugiri served as the main hub, but the outreach extended far and wide, with multiple centres established nationwide. This ensured that everyone, from all walks of life, received meat and participated in the celebrations.

The Rt Hon Rukia Nakadama, 3rd Deputy Prime Minister, officiated the #EidAlAdha2024 preparations, praising Salam Charity Foundation and its partners for their tireless humanitarian work. She encouraged all able Muslims to engage in charity work and assist those in need.

Hajji Karim Kaliisa, Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity Foundation, emphasised the potential of Ugandans to achieve great things when working together. He announced a new project where individuals can contribute just 1,000 UGX (approximately $0.25) weekly, which can collectively make a significant impact and change lives.

Salam Charity remains committed to its theme, "Every act of kindness is Charity," continuing to inspire and empower individuals to make a positive difference in their communities.

This event was the climax of several charitable outreaches by Salam TV and Salam Charity Foundation ahead of Eid Al-Adha 2024. One major ongoing project is "Road to Makkah," an initiative to enable as many Ugandans as possible to visit the Holy Land in an organised and affordable manner.
