C-Care Uganda has hosted an exclusive aesthetics training session aimed at enhancing the skills of local medical professionals.

The masterclass reinforced C-Care's position as a premier centre for aesthetic excellence and professional development in the country.

Held at C-Care IHK in Namuwongo, the private training focused on advanced injection techniques using cutting-edge products, including Saypha dermal fillers and Botox.

This high-level session was delivered in partnership with Enkaja Healthcare, the official regional representatives for Croma Pharma. Leading the training was Dr. Ahmed, Croma Pharma’s official trainer, who travelled to Kampala to support the upskilling of Ugandan practitioners.

The hands-on masterclass exposed local aesthetic professionals to world-class techniques in non-surgical procedures, equipping them to deliver safe, innovative, and globally benchmarked treatments.

“We had the privilege of hosting a seasoned medical professional who delivered a masterclass on aesthetic and regenerative injectables,” said Evelyn Kayanja, a pharmacist and clinical aesthetician at Care Spa IHK Namuwongo.

“As one of the demo models who received Botox, I can confidently say the procedure is safe, minimally invasive, and far less intimidating than many assume. This training not only reinforced proper technique and anatomy but also emphasized the importance of these treatments being performed by qualified healthcare professionals.”

Kayanja further noted the impact of such initiatives on public trust.

“Many Ugandans seek these procedures abroad due to concerns about local expertise. By bringing in diaspora experts to train and mentor practitioners here at Care Spa IHK Namuwongo, we’re building trust in our own healthcare professionals and ensuring patients receive world-class care right at home.”

The event reflected the growing sophistication of Uganda’s non-surgical aesthetics market and its alignment with international standards. Dr. Ahmed praised the participants' commitment:

“It has been a privilege to share advanced techniques for products like Saypha fillers and Botox with the dedicated medical professionals here at C-Care. The existing skill level and eagerness to learn are truly impressive.

As demand for aesthetic procedures grows, such collaborations are vital to ensuring the quality and safety of treatments offered in Kampala meet the highest global standards. C-Care is clearly leading the way by bringing this calibre of training to the region.”

This training builds on C-Care’s strategic efforts to expand aesthetic services in Uganda. Last year, C-Care Spa Aesthetic was launched, quickly becoming a leading destination for cosmetic and rejuvenation treatments.

The initiative complements broader partnerships, such as the one between C-Care IHK and Andalusia—a top multi-specialty hospital in Egypt—established to redefine plastic surgery excellence in Uganda.

The collaboration introduced a full suite of services in medical plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, and aesthetic spa treatments.

The C-Care Aesthetic Spa offers a holistic plastic surgery experience. Treatments include Botox and dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy, all delivered under expert medical supervision. This ensures that Ugandan clients receive the safest, most advanced care available in the region.
