What started as a fascination with unique ink has turned into a world-record achievement for Chadwyck Minson, who has officially entered the Guinness World Records with 100 eyeball tattoos inked across his body.
Minson first claimed the record in 2024 with 65 eyeballs adorning his legs and arms. But earlier this year, he decided to push the limits even further.
Partnering again with tattoo artist Stoke Lucero, owner of Nocturnal Tattoo in Denver, the duo added 35 more designs, bringing his total to an even 100.
“After I got the 65 eyeballs tattooed, I came in to get another tattoo, and I was like, ‘Why don't we just add another 35 and make it an even 100 eyeballs?’” Minson told Westword.
The final designs, completed on March 22, 2025, include intricate eyes spiraling around Minson’s knee and constellations of eyeballs spread across his arms.
Each tattoo was carefully placed to blend with his existing artwork while maintaining a surreal, eye-catching aesthetic.
Lucero, who first worked with Minson in 2018 on a back tattoo, said the project grew naturally out of their creative collaboration.
“He’s a pretty open-minded tattoo collector, so he has a lot of cool, creative ideas,” Lucero explained. “Chad originally had some other tattoo on his leg, and we were trying to figure out a way to incorporate that into a sleeve. I came up with the idea for the eyeballs.”
The record-breaking sleeve has now cemented Minson’s place in tattoo history. For both artist and collector, the accomplishment represents more than just numbers—it’s the result of years of creativity, collaboration, and an unblinking dedication to body art.
With 100 watchful eyes now permanently inked into his skin, Minson says he’s thrilled with the recognition but won’t rule out future additions. And if his past record-breaking streak is anything to go by, the world may not have seen the last of his ocular obsession.
