After years of solitude, socio-political commentator Frank Gashumba appears to have finally found his better-half.
At the writing of this, Gashumba is being introduced by his lover, whose name has yet to be revealed.
The ceremony is taking place at his fiancée's home in Sembabule, attended by clergy members and close friends, including Pastor Aloysius Bugingo.
This development has surprised many online, especially given Gashumba's previous views on marriage and family.
He has often stated that he would never consider marriage, claiming that he lacks the time for it due to the demands women place on their partners.
"I cannot get married. What will a woman give me? When you marry, you spend the entire night awake; I don’t have that energy. You have to stay alert to address those intimate matters every night, fulfilling her desires. I cannot do that," Gashumba said in a radio interview last year.

In that same interview, he shared that he once dated a very attractive woman, but her high sex drive discouraged him from pursuing marriage.
"Every time we went to bed, she wanted more. At 3am, at 5am – I would go to work feeling exhausted, and at one point, I thought I was going to collapse," he recounted.
However, Gashumba seems to have changed his perspective and is now embracing a relationship, appearing humble and happy in recent photos shared online on Thursday.
He is the father of socialite Sheila Gashumba, whose mother parted ways with the founder of Sisimuka years ago.
