Ghetto Kids to perform at children's expo

Ugandan dancing group, Ghetto Kids has signed a partnership with Kiara Events to perform at this year's Baby and Kids Expo set for May, 10 to 12 at Lugogo.

The Getto Kids will perform alongside Destiny Valerie Mirembe, daughter to Ugandan superstar, Winnie Nwagi .

Announcing the partnership , Dauda Kavuma , the Ghetto Kids manager said this was yet another opportunity to showcase their talent.

“This is our chance to bring the magic back home! After wowing audiences on America's Got Talent and touring Europe, we are thrilled to bring our powerhouse performance back to Uganda. And where better to do it than at the Baby and Kids Expo,"Kavuma said.

This year’s  Baby and Kids Expo will be held under the theme ‘Inspiring Children’s Health, Skills, Learning, and Parenting’, is in line with the Ghetto Kids mission of using music, dance and drama to help disadvantaged, street and orphaned children to achieve basic needs.

The Ghetto Kids are going to be the masters of ceremony at the event and also showcase their amazing talent of dance, modelling, and are going to also take part in the meet and greet session where they will be directly engaging with their fans.

Joweria Nabuuma, Managing Director of Kiara Events Limited, echoed the enthusiasm.

“You have seen these incredible talents on social media, now it's time to experience their magic in person."

She said the expo is not just an event but a journey into the heart of family dynamics, offering a wide range of activities; including a red-carpet moment for children incluidng dress to kill, face painting, mind-blowing experiments with the mad scientist, and a chance to explore stalls from the most prestigious brands in the industry.
