PLE set for November 5, 6 as Uneb warns against malpractices

The Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has released the detailed time-table for this year's Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

According to a statement signed by Dan Odongo, the executive secretary of Uneb, PLE shall be done on November 5th and 6th.

Candidates will start with Mathematics in the morning of November 5th and do Social Studies in the afternoon. Morning papers shall start at 9.00 am while those in the afternoon shall commence at 2.00 PM

On November 6th, candidates shall  sit for the Science paper in the morning and then English in the afternoon.

Odongo said that mobile phones shall not allowed in and around examination rooms.

He said the following are some examples of malpractice, which will lead to disqualification of a candidate and cancellation of the entire results;

"The board will publish the names of all candidates, supervisors, invigilators, schools or anyone who will be found having involved themselves in any form of examination malpractice," Odongo warned.
