Co-Wives Thump Husband to Pulp Over Infidelity Claims
Robert Bebwa, the Butayunjwa B Village vice chairperson was hospitalised after his two wives allegedly attacked him with a sharp object over accusations of infidelity. Police have arrested the women and launched an investigation into the assault.

 

Robert Bebwa, 51, Vice Chairperson LC I of Butayunjwa B Village, Buyanja Sub-County in Buyende District, is recovering at Kidera Health Centre IV after his two wives allegedly attacked him, inflicting serious injuries on his private parts.

Busoga North Regional Police spokesperson SSP Samson Lubega said the women, identified as Naluvuma Esther, 44, and Nakayunja Norah, 53, reportedly planned and carried out the assault on Monday.

The attack allegedly followed a domestic dispute sparked by claims of infidelity against Bebwa. During the incident, the suspects are said to have used a sharp object to inflict severe wounds.

Both women have been arrested as police investigate a case of unlawful wounding. Residents rushed Bebwa to the health centre immediately after the attack.

SSP Lubega condemned acts of domestic violence and urged the public to resolve disputes through peaceful and lawful channels.
