Jonathan Wanambwa, alias MC Gavin, 30, a renowned master of ceremonies in Mbale, was confirmed dead on Tuesday evening following a stabbing incident at a private residence.
Wanambwa was rushed to Mbale Regional Referral Hospital after the attack, but doctors pronounced him dead shortly after arrival, leaving the city’s entertainment community in shock.
Preliminary police reports suggest that the attack was carried out by his girlfriend, who is also believed to have ended her own life shortly after the incident.
