Simplifi Networks has partnered with Purple Skills Klinic to deliver an interactive Entrepreneurship Masterclass.
The program, attended by over 100 students aimed at strengthening digital capabilities and advancing entrepreneurial resolve among the students enrolled in the 10X Program, a partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, Women in Technology, Refactory, and Outbox, to elevate young women into dignified work in the digital economy, and the Kamwokya Boy Child Program by Rotary at the Purple Skills Klinic in Bukoto.
Both programs have a key focus on digital skills for economic empowerment.
The Masterclass, facilitated by Simplifi Networks CEO Ken Stober, focused on the practical realities of building a business in Uganda.
Stober openly shared his personal experiences from building Simplifi Networks into a leading value-added provider in East Africa, detailing the resilience, challenges, and innovative approach required to scale a successful business.
He also strongly encouraged the students to keep on top of technology trends to maintain their marketability.
Reinforcing Simplifi’s commitment to driving skills development and empowering the next generation of ICT talent, Ken Stober said:

To enhance practical learning opportunities, Simplifi Networks also announced that it will be donating 10 digital tablets to Purple Skills Klinic, providing students with essential tools to gain hands-on experience and apply their new knowledge effectively.
Inspired by the training, Mwesigwa Nana Pearl, a Graphics Design student at the Purple Skills Klinic, shared her renewed ambition to grow her fashion brand, Pearl Fashions, noting:
“I had almost given up on my startup, but being part of this training gave me the encouragement and hope I truly needed. Hearing from the Simplifi Networks team that success takes time and consistency, that they tried this for years and seeing how far they are right now has given me the confidence that I can make it, too.
