Vivo Energy reopens renovated Shell Busia service station

Vivo Energy Uganda, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants has announced the reopening of the newly renovated Shell Busia service station.

The launch was officiated by Joanita Mukasa Menya, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Uganda, as part of the company’s expansion strategy aimed at bringing its world-class Shell fuels and services closer to its customers across the region.

Originally a small station catering primarily to travelers in transit between Uganda and Kenya, Shell Busia has been modernised and expanded to meet the needs of today’s growing customer base.

Key upgrades include an enlarged forecourt to accommodate more vehicles, from passenger taxis and buses to commercial trucks that form part of Uganda’s vital export corridor.

The station also  showcases Shell’s modern visual identity, reflecting Vivo Energy Uganda’s dynamic, forward-thinking approach.

This refreshed look, now being replicated across Vivo Energy’s stations, symbolises a unified, customer-centric experience built on innovation, sustainability, and exceptional service.

The reopening event was attended by Vivo Energy Uganda employees, customers including area businessmen, local leaders, and the vibrant community of Busia municipality, who welcomed the enhancements with enthusiasm.
