Spend wisely, Minister tells students
The State Minister for Transport, Fred Byamukama has cautioned graduates against imprudent spending, emphasizing the importance of being supportive to their families and communities.
Byamukama delivered this message during the 8th graduation ceremony at Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing, where 521 healthcare practitioners received certificates and diplomas in various medical fields.

Representing Dr John Chrysostom Muyingo, the State Minister for Higher Education, Byamukama, who is an alumnus of the institution, highlighted that many young graduates tend to overspend, particularly in frivolous relationships, once they secure employment.
During the ceremony, Byamukama also acknowledged the government's efforts to create conducive learning environments and urged graduates to take advantage of these initiatives.
Meanwhile, school administrators including Josphine Nambiro and Dr. Filbert Nyeko appealed for government assistance in enhancing the institution's infrastructure, staffing, and student welfare.
Before Florence Nightingale's Oath for Nurses, Birungi Harriet Nsamba, the Senior Principal Officer of Technical Industrial, Vocation, and Entrepreneurship Training (TIVET), urged the graduates to uphold professional standards.
Established in 1972, Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing is the sole government-founded nursing institution in the Kigezi sub-region, currently enrolling 634 students.
