Boda boda cyclist Gerald Musisi and Makerere student Joanita Nanyanzi are the first winners of EcoBank Transact And Win promotion for the Abu Dhabi Grand Formula One Prix 2018.

The two will joined by three other lucky winners who will be announced on 31 November to make a total of five winners to watch Abu Dhabi Grand Px finals from 23-25 November this year.

Valtteri Bottas is the winner of the 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. with the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel competing in the 2018 grand pix, the race is expected to be more competitive and entertaining than ever before.

Two Ugandans Gerald Musisi and Joanita Nanyanzi will watch Grand Pix live.

The two were unveiled today to the media as the first winners of the Ecobank Transact And Win promotion.

Gerald Musisi is a boda boad cyclist in Kampala whereas Joanita Nanyanzi is a business woman who is pursuing her master’s degree in business administration at Makerere University.

Musisi says that he has been using Ecobank mobile banking system and he is happy to be a winner. “I am very happy and previlaged to be a winner, I am going to process my passport quicky and go to Abu Dhabu.” Said Musisi.

“This is dream come true, I have been watch Hamlton on tv but I am lucky to find that I will see live.” Says Nanyanzi.

According to Nuhu Kanyike the Ecobank head, consumer banking, the winners will enjoy a fully paid trip cutesy of Ecobank.

“The lucky winners will enjoy a fully paid trip and this is par of our corperate social responsibility. And those who have constantly using mobile banking stand a chance to win.” Said Kanyike.

Previous winners like Valtteri Bottas, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel will all feature in this year’s prix.
