Johnnie Walker's Father's Day Bottle Turn Up celebrations attracted revellers to Black Panther and Thrones over the weekend, as the whisky brand hosted back to back events dedicated to fathers, father figures and nightlife enthusiasts.
The activations, part of the brand's ongoing Bottle Turn Up campaign, featured live entertainment, cocktail experiences and bottle service, with Kampala partygoers turning up in large numbers.
The weekend began on Friday at Black Panther, where DJs Evelyn Mic, Mercy Pro and Lito, alongside other entertainers, kept revellers on their feet throughout the night.
The celebrations then shifted to Thrones on Sunday for a Father's Day edition hosted by media personality Lynda Ddane. The event brought together fathers, father figures and whisky lovers for an evening centred on appreciation and celebration.
Performances from Kasbaby, Crysto Deejay, Jerry Mehn, DJ Easu and Sir Aluda kept the energy high as guests enjoyed music, cocktails and bottle service.
Speaking during the celebrations, Julius Ssenungi, Shopper Manager for Johnnie Walker, said the Bottle Turn Up platform was designed to offer consumers a premium whisky experience.
"The Johnnie Walker Bottle Turn Ups are our way of giving back to our consumers by creating experiences where they can enjoy the whisky at great value while immersing themselves in a full Johnnie Walker brand experience. This Father's Day weekend, we wanted to celebrate the incredible fathers and father figures who have inspired those around them to keep walking. What better way to honour them than dedicating an entire Bottle Turn Up weekend to them?" he said.
According to the organisers, the Bottle Turn Up campaign will continue at selected bars and lounges across the country, offering consumers an opportunity to enjoy Johnnie Walker through curated entertainment experiences.
