Ugandan artiste, Fresh Daddy starts singing Reggae, says Bob Marley asked him to be his heir

Singer Paul Mutabazi alias Fresh Daddy has abandoned his music genre and joined the reggae music industry.

The singer who outed a new tune dubbed “One day” claims he had a serious dream in which reggae maestro Bob Marley was giving him props.

According to Fresh Daddy, he was asleep one day when Bob Marley appeared to him in a dream.

“He appeared to me in a dream and we talked, he asked me to be his replacement.”

Fresh Daddy, whose major form of communication is a local dialect (Luganda), a language not known by the deceased Jamaican singer and writer, claims they spoke in Jamaican slang also known as Patios.

“He came to be and said wagwan wagwan, wayasay, deya deya. I picked some words I could understand and left the rest. What is important is he asked me to replace him,” Fresh Daddy claimed.

The Bantu Bakyawa singer was defenestrated from the Bad Character music label held by fellow singer Sadat Mukiibi alias Aganaga for his pathetic talent.

Aganaga, who wrote one of the two only songs to Fresh Daddy’s name, says the Bucupa singer has no talent and cannot sing.

However, Fresh Daddy says he will not relent, that’s is the reason for which he has decided to take on Bob Marley’s vision seriously.
