Mafia in government are behind my woes, want to kill me- Kenzo

Singer Eddy Kenzo has said some people he described as mafia in government are behind his current problems with the aim of eliminating him.

Since rumours about the love affair between Rema Namakula and his new lover Hamza Ssebunya started circulating, it has not been rosy for Kenzo who has been mocked by many for ignoring her, prompting Rema to hook a new catch.

A few weeks ago, social media was awash with photos of Rema with her new lover as the two held a private visit (kukyala) to Namakula’s parents, a gesture that displeased Kenzo.

Speaking during a facebook chat on Tuesday afternoon, the ‘Sitya Loss’ singer said some people in government are behind his problems and are working around the clock to ensure he is finished before the 2021 presidential polls.

“These people want to kill me so we can reach 2021 when I can’t say anything. They pay for my music not to be played. They have also bought some people to abuse me for nothing,”Kenzo said.

“Many people have been hiding behind my family problems to ensure they bring me down. It is beyond her (Rema) and me but unfortunately, she is not aware that there are people behind all this.”

The teary singer said it has been brought to his attention that there is a group of people working to ensure that he is frustrated and his music career collapses.

“They were given money to pretend to be relatives to her(Rema) husband to frustrate me and later poison me so it can be reported that I committed suicide. They want to poison me.”

The singer insisted the people behind his woes are mafia in government and want to end his life.

Following a successful private visit(kukyala) to Rema Namkula’s parents two weeks ago, Hamza Ssebunya is to be introduced on November 14, 2019 at Rema’s parents’ home somewhere in Masaka.
