Pastor Bugingo refuses to pay fees for his children, sued (Video)

House of Prayer Ministries lead pastor, Aloysious Bugingo has reportedly refused to pay school fees for his children following his separation with his soon to be ex-wife, Teddy Naluswa.

Earlier this year, Pastor Bugingo made headlines for all the wrong reasons when he accused his wife of embarrassing him before the church and family members.

The couple has four children one of which, is out of school, two school going children and a four year old baby.

The Nile Post has established that the two school going children recently went to their father’s (Read Bugingo) Salt Media offices to seek financial support for their education but were harshly chased out of the media house’s premises.

To prove this, NBS Television’s household entertainment bulletin dubbed ‘UNCUT’ secretly recorded an audio in which Bugingo, in his husky voice is heard ordering the children to stop recording and get into a car while another voice of a lady is heard wailing in response to the pastor’s actions.

Bugingo sued

According to UNCUT, Pastor Bugingo’s wife Naluswa was prompted to sue him over child neglect saying that the pastor has since dropped all the responsibility and his duty of taking care of the children. She wants court to order him pay fees for the children.

Pastor Sempa weighs in

Pastor Martin Sempa of Makerere Community Church criticized Bugingo for telling his flock at the House of Prayer Ministries to always pray when they get challenges yet he can’t do the same  himself.

“You always tell people to pray, now that your marriage is threatened, why don’t you pray? The same God is still working and you should ask Him to guide you,” Sempa said.

Sempa said that its a shame that court will have to order someone like Bugingo to take care of his children who are his responsibility.
