Winners flagged off to Dubai, 25th car given away as Pepsi Tukonectinnge climaxes

The Pepsi Tukonectinge promotion climaxed on a high with the second batch of winners being flagged off to Dubai whereas the 25th winner was also handed his brand new Toyota Wish car.

On Monday, Crown Beverages Limited, the bottlers of soft drinks including Pepsi, Mirinda and Mountain Dew among others flagged off 11 winners for a fully paid trip to Dubai under the promotion.

Meanwhile, the 25th Toyota Wish car was up for grabs by the highest connector.

“I was the highest SMS sender in the Tukonectinge Promo mainly because I was enticed by the reward that was at stake. Every time I continued to participate, I could receive airtime in different denominations ranging from shs5,000, and I decided to use about 50% of the same airtime and mobile money to send the SMS,”Leo Kiyemba a resident of Namasuba said.

Vicky Achen, from Lira and a winner of a fully paid trip to Dubai, who made the most SMS pairs jubilantly pronounced, “I thank the management of Pepsi for the opportunity they gave us to travel to Dubai.”

He added, “Today we are going abroad and am excited, to have the chance to sit in an airplane.”

Crown Beverages Limited under their flagship soft drink, Pepsi in April launched a promotion dubbed ‘Tuconectinge’ in which they said they had sunk a whooping shs4 billion and rewarded 25 lucky customers with brand new Toyota Wish cars, fridges, TV sets and other home appliances
