Female Journalist chased out of Nsibambi requiem service because of pair of trousers
A female journalist attached to Daily Monitor newspaper has been shown out of the Namirembe Cathedral where a requiem service for former Uganda premier, Apolo Nsibambi was underway.
The journalist, identified as Rachel Mabala, attached as a photographer arrived at the church premises dressed in black trouser suit only to be blocked from entry.

“So I enter church to work and I am told to leave because trousers are not allowed in church,” Mabala lamented following the circumstance.
Mabala, known for her love for trousers as compared to dresses and skirts said she has not come across such treatment before, despite covering both Catholic and Anglican churches before.
“I covered the Catholic Church yesterday and I was not sent away, I have always covered all Saints church and I have never been sent away,” she added.
