Nnabagereka urges women to prioritise personal health

The Queen of Buganda Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda has called upon women to prioritise their health and well being by eating healthy foods that contain nutrients.

Speaking at the 6th annual Buganda Women Conference at Hotel Africana, Nagginda said: "Three things have helped me. The first one is prayers, secondly carrying out physical exercises and the third one is eating a balanced diet."

She told women that the kingdom possesses all kinds of foods which contain all nutrients and are not expensive.

“All these kinds of foods we have them at our homes. We can also easily access them at a cheaper price in the markets," she said.

She said if women prioritise their health and wellbeing, it will help to promote personal hygiene, sanitation , food hygiene and good relationship not only at home but also at different schools where their children go for studies.

She further urged women to engage in the small scale business enterprises to better their economic status.

The conference attracted women and scores of men from all the counties of the kingdom.
