URA edges SC Villa in Startimes Uganda Premier League

URA FC condemned 16 time league winners sports club Villa to their sixth loss of the season in the Startimes Uganda premier league at the Mandela National Stadium .

Douglas Bamweyana gave starting debuts to some of his new signings including shot stopper Saidi Keni , Asuman Arishe from Mbarara city and midfielder Sulaiman Majanjaalo.

Either side started well but it was the taxmen who drew first blood through defender Patrick Mbowa in the 37th minute who raised above the sc villa defenders to head home Said Keni’s corner, as the scores stayed the same until the final whistle.

The victory sent URA FC fifth while Sports club Villa kept its 13th position.

In the other game played , was a one all affair between Bright Stars and Onduparaka.
