The disgruntled youths say the continued incarceration of their Member of Parliament Paul Mwiru creates a serious vacuum in their representation in Parliament.
They vowed to continue demonstrating till government releases their MP Paul Mwiru and Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka whom they call their President.
Police led by Kiira Region Police Commander swung into action to disperse the rowdy rioters.
Rounds of gun shots were heard at the junction which connects Clive road East and Spire road.

Wednesday’s protests come a day after protests first broke out in Jinja on Monday, August 20, 2018 over the detained MPs.
