Don't work for money, Lumumba tells NRM mobilisers in Jinja East

The NRM leadership has implored mobilisers in the on-going Jinja East campaigns not to put money at the forefront of their efforts.

Addressing party supporters on Friday, Kasule Lumumba, the NRM secretary general told them to learn to sacrifice for the party.

Earlier some party insiders had told The Nile Post that Lumumba and Dr Hassan Galiwango, the party director of Finance and Administration had assured that there was enough money for the campaigns.

In a clarification sent to our website, the party noted: "The NRM Secretary General is in Jinja East to drum up support for our flag bearer Hon Nathan Igeme Nabeta and prepare ground for the coming of the National Chairperson and President on March 13. The Finance and Administration Director Dr. Hassan Galiwango is here to coordinate the activities of different campaign groups within the constituency by giving administrative and political guidance. His mobilisation ability is not doubtable. He is not here to dish out funds..."
