A case against modern day feminists

Modern day feminists are all around us. In our workplaces, in newspapers, on social media platforms. They tend to play the card that women are victims in all situations and want to advance the women agenda at any given opportunity.

Here are nine reasons why they rile me.

 

They constantly victimise gender, and it comes across as insulting

Treating women like victims of society instead of empowering them does nothing but hold them back. Do all women feel disadvantaged as a women or it is the feminists that are superimposing this effect on them, that is not necessary.

They get offended too easily and make women look crazy

Feminists make everyone walk on eggshells and are constantly awaiting the opportunity to show everyone how educated they are about the evil patriarchy and feminism in general. Anything negative said about women will be promptly used as a feminist’s platform to tell everyone how misogynistic and brainwashed they are.

 They claim to want equality, but expect special treatment

Feminists like to think men and women are the same, but freak out the second men start treating them like. Feminists want men to become feminized and sensitive, rather than maculating themselves for equality. Then they end up losing interest in these feminized men because deep down they’re biologically repulsed by them.

They trivialise rape by broadening its definition into the grounds of consensual sex

Feminists claim drunk women can’t consent to sex, and if a woman has sex while intoxicated and regrets her decision afterwards, she might as well consider herself raped.

A lot of them are Marxist socialist vegans

I don’t really have an issue with this at all, but has anyone else noticed this correlation? I find it peculiar.

They try to convince all women that they are feminists

“Oh you’re not a feminist? So you don’t believe in equal rights for men and women?”

“No. That’s not what I said.”

“Well if you believe in equality, then you are a feminist.”

“But I’m not a feminist.”

Feminists fail to see the redundancy in the modern-day feminist movement

The world’s most annoying feminists usually come from countries where women are not even disadvantaged. Countries where there are laws against rape, harassment and abuse.

But what about the gender pay gap? Well, That brings me to my next point…

Feminists refuse to acknowledge that the gender pay gap is the result of women’s choices, not sexism

You’ve probably heard it a million times; women get paid 77 cents for every dollar a man makes. It’s been used time and time again when feminists talk about how women are still unequal in modern-day Western societies.

What they’re not telling you is that these wage gaps are not the result of gender discrimination, but the result of women’s choices.

Women are less likely to take dangerous, high-paying jobs and less likely to work in high-paying computer and engineering fields. Even in the same field, men are more likely to pursue specialized careers with higher levels of stress. Men are also more likely to pursue dangerous jobs that involve demanding physical labor, which generally pay more than less taxing jobs. Men also work an average of 9% more hours than women.

Feminists refuse to acknowledge that men and women are different.

Unless they’re talking about what evil rapists and murderers men are.

Neither gender is better than the other. Our differences work together in a beautiful symbiotic way, and feminism, for whatever reason, is essentially destroying that. Men and women have different priorities, we have different strengths and different weaknesses. There is nothing wrong with that, and the sooner feminists realize this, the better.

I realize not all feminists are like this. I realize I’m generalizing. You don’t need to write me a message about what a great feminist you are and how none of the above applies to you.

What modern feminists refuse to admit is that feminism is only one side of a two-sided coin of inequality. A “movement” that advocates for the rights of one gender over another is sexist and inequal by nature… If feminists were striving for equality, then they wouldn’t be Femnists. That’s just deductive reasoning. Being against feminism means that you’re truly for equality.

I don’t need modern feminism because I do not need a “movement” to advocate for me based on my gender. I am my own advocate. I am smart, independent, strong, competent, and confident. I am perfectly capable of fighting for and obtaining my own equality… And I will do so with the love, support, and encouragement of all the men in my life…especially my boyfriend who treats and sees me as his equal in everything that we do together.
