Bobi Wine banned from music show in Mukono over uttering “inciteful” words
Police have banned Kyadondo East MP, Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, from a show in Mukono over uttering inciteful words.
In a letter from Kampala Metropolitan Police commander, Mr Fred Mwesigwa, police issue a directive to the managing director of Balunywa promotions limited, to desist from proceeding with Bobi Wine’s show in Mukono District.

The show was to be held at Coline Hotel Mukono and Balunywa promotions was seeking for security at the premises during the event.
“Unfortunately, we are not granting permission for the show because during the previous show at one love beach Busabala, he uttered words that were inciteful to the public and he is now under investigations,” the police statement reads.
Bobi Wine during his concert at Busabala, coined lyrics in which he rallied crowds against the age limit removal. He used most of his time on stage to communicate a message against President Museveni’s intentions to keep in power despite age catching up on him, according to the constitutional requirements.
Police has recently stopped Bobi Wine’s shows in Kamuli and Kasese districts
