Ajambo is said to have been infuriated by reports that Nangobi who is originally a resident of Namungalwe Sub County in Iganga District was in her husband’s house in Igulubi village, Wairasa sub-county Mayuge District.
According to Busoga East Police spokesman James Mubi, a fight ensued between the two women when they found each other at the home of Emmanuel Kulaba who happens to have engaged both as his wives.
Kulaba however had been living in the same house with Ajambo until they developed a misunderstanding recently leading to an unceremonious separation.
Following Ajambo’s leaving the home, Kulaba invited Nangobi to take over as the dominant wife, but word reached Ajambo who dashed back and a fight ensued, in which she stabbed the former to death.
"As police, we have commenced with thorough investigations and after the suspect will be arraigned in court to face murder charges,” Mubi said.
He appealed to the aggrieved parties to desists from such acts of criminality whenever they get misunderstandings.
