Kenyan tactician Michael Ouma named new Vipers interim coach
Kitende based Vipers Sports Club have appointed
Kenyan tactician Michael Ouma as their interim coach after sacking their
Mexican coach Javier Matinez Espinoza.
On Sunday evening, the club announced they had named a
five man interim technical team to take charge of the club until the end of the
season.
“Vipers Sports Club has this evening named a five- man
interim technical team that will be handling the club going until the end of
this season,”the club said in a statement released on Sunday evening.
“The team includes a new face of Kenyan born Micheal Ouma,
Oloya Moses, Edward Ssali and Ram Nyakana Mpuga.”
The club said they would be naming the fifth person soon
as they seek to steer through the storm they are going through currently.
“The new team commenced work this evening with a training
session in preparation for Vipers next league game against URA FC at Namboole
on the 3rd January 2019.”
Ouma once took charge of the
Kenyan under 17 team as the head coach.
The Venoms on Saturday sacked
Espinoza following his exit from the Caf Champions League and a series of
dismal performances only four months after taking charge of the Kitende based
team.
