Sebuguzi, Ssenyange power to victory in NRC Fort Portal rally

The crew of Ronald Sebuguzi and Leon Ssenyange in their Mitsubishi Evo X high-powered past their rivals to claim the Fort Portal Round four National Rally Championship (NRC) victory on Sunday.

Sebuguzi (driver) and Ssenyange (navigator) posted 1:43:47 as the fastest time beating their followers who came second by 3 minutes and 15 seconds during the rough and tough Fort Portal rally.

The victory improved their standings on the overall NRC table moving to fifth place.

"Thanks for the huge and massive support throughout the whole race. It was a tough, rough and deadly one", a joyous Sebuguzi expressed upon clinching the pole position.

Kepher Walubi and his partner Anthony Mugambwa took the second position racing to 1:46:03 while 'Super Lady' Susan Muwonge together with her navigator Edmond Kyeyune in Subaru N12B tailed a time of 1:46:39 to the third place finish.

Fred Wampamba and Paul Musaazi finished fourth with a time of 1:49:39, Omar Mayanja and Hussein Mukwaye in fifth while Unisan Bakunda and Umar Kakande languished in sixth.
