Military carries out raid, recovers car of deceased Case Hospital accountant

A joint operation team by the military and the Joint Anti-Terrorism Team (JATT)  has recovered the vehicle suspected to be of the deceased Case Hospital accountant Francis Ekalungar.

Ekalungar was kidnapped a few weeks ago on his way to bank shs14 million before his burnt body was dumped in Kajjansi.

The Toyota Premio suspected to have belonged to Ekalungar. The number plates are believed to have been changed.

Operations by the Internal Security Organisation and Chieftaincy of Military Investigations on Saturday and Sunday culminated into the arrest of three suspects linked to the murder after the deceased's vehicle, a Toyota Premio was recovered in their custody in Kabowa, Rubaga division.

The suspects arrested include Muzamir Mawa 36, Kandi Muhindo,38 and Fagil Muwendo all found in the home from which the vehicle was recovered.

The military is still intensifying with its operations against the notorious Boda Boda 2010 group after arresting several of its members including their patron Abdullah Kitatta.
