Rwanda eliminates visa requirement for UAE citizens

UAE nationals can now travel to Rwanda without prior visa arrangements, the UAE’s government announced on Saturday.
The announcement is the result of a memorandum of understanding signed by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, the UAE’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Louise Mushikiwabo, Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and East African Community.

The agreement is applicable for UAE nationals holding regular, private, diplomatic and VIP passports, and also exempts Rwandan holders of diplomatic passports to from UAE prior-visa requirements.
Earlier in December, similar agreements were announced that allow UAE nationals to enter Chile and Ukraine without pre-entry visas.
