Chameleon in trouble over breach of contract

Uganda's renowned dancehall artist, Joseph Mayanja aka Dr. Jose Chameleon could be sued for failing to perform at shows in 2015 for which advance payment was made.

Zaina Namuwonge of Sezana Promotions through his lawyers Lukwago and Company Advocates claims that he paid the singer Shs 15 million to perform in the South Africa cities of Durban, East London, Pretoria and Cape town respectively in October 2015.

But Chameleon did not turn up for the shows something Namuwonge said caused her a  financial loss.

Chameleon acknowledging receipt for advance payment

On November 28, Lukwago and Company Advocates on behalf of Namuwonge, submitted a letter to the police intending to demand the singer, Chameleon to settle the matter amicably or else he is sued.

We failed to get a comment from Chameleon as he could not pick his phone.
