Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda has celebrated the achievements of its top-performing life insurance agents and unit managers for the year 2023 at the annual Jubilee club membership convention.

The event held at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala on Friday, honoured individuals across five distinct categories including Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each category carried different prizes awarded to the respective top performers.

Kumar Sumit Gaurav, the chief executive officer of Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda, emphasised the significance of recognising agents, highlighting their proximity to customers.

He stressed the importance of aligning strategies with all agents and distribution channels.

"It is crucial to align them and build upon the strategies we have. This convention presents the perfect opportunity to disseminate our message to them," he stated.

"I extend a warm welcome to this convention and express my gratitude for all your efforts, which have contributed to our outstanding results. We hope that you maintain the same dedication and hard work to achieve the targets set for 2024," he added.

Dorcus Namara, chief operations officer at Jubilee Insurance Uganda, expressed joy in acknowledging excellence and hard work during such gatherings.

"All of you are winners, and we appreciate your tireless efforts, which led to a successful 2023 for Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda," she said.

Namara also addressed the predominance of female agents, attributing it to the encouragement of the girl child and the observed patience of women in the insurance field.

"Ladies exhibit a pervasive attitude towards customers as they often need explanations reiterated. While we continue to encourage men to join this profession, we appreciate the patience and dedication shown by our female agents," she explained.

Among the top performers were Nassaka Agnes, Nakitto Teddy, Twebaze Eunice, Tunihira Rebecca, Namuyomba Resty, Babirye Katrina, Mukyala Irene, Kiconco Caroline, Namutebi Sofia, and Sekyewa Fatuma.

Other notable performers included Namwanje Hasifah, Nalwoga Sylvia, Bushemere Sheilah, Tumusiime Rashidah, Tugumenawe Eron, Nakayenga Margret, Najjuko Prossie, Nakayiki Ivy, Nakkazi Juliet, and Kalungi Doreen
