Uganda Red Cross and Eco Bank Uganda strengthen partnership with new MoU

The Uganda Red Cross has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Eco Bank Uganda to enhance their collaboration in addressing critical social issues. The signing ceremony, attended by senior members of both organizations, marks a significant step in their ongoing partnership.

Robert Kwesiga, Secretary General of the Uganda Red Cross society , highlighted the importance of this agreement, stating, "As we at Eco Bank and Uganda Red Cross come together to sign this memorandum of understanding, we are solidifying our commitment to a cause that touches the very core of our society."

One of the key initiatives under this partnership is the provision of sanitary pads to vulnerable girls, ensuring they do not miss school due to lack of basic hygiene products.

Grace Bonny Muliisa, Managing Director of Eco Bank Uganda, emphasized the impact of this initiative, noting, "Through this partnership, we aim to support over 50,000 girls annually, ensuring they can stay in school and focus on their education."
